Penalty Fares Administration

A comprehensive service, starting with a high-function high-performance helpdesk for revenue protection staff to check passenger names and addresses and research previous history.  Notices issued by inspectors are then handled entirely by us: we provide flexible payment facilities for passengers, chase unpaid notices, and if necessary move unpaid cases into prosecution or debt recovery processes.   Client transport operators have access to our powerful real-time management information system, providing complete transparency on the work we do for them, and on the activities of their own revenue protection staff.  More...

Unpaid Fares Administration

This service is almost identical to our Penalty Fares administration service, and provides the same facilities for clients and passengers.  It differs only in the regulatory basis, since Unpaid Fare processes apply where regulated Penalty Fares schemes do not exist.  More... 

Notice Pad Production

We offer flexible and quick production of the specialised pads for Penalty Fare and Unpaid Fare notices, and for various other stationery items used in revenue protection.  We also provide a web-based Pads Management service, allowing tracking and control of issue for pads which need an audit trail.

Appeals Management

Our IAS (Independent Appeals Service) division provides passengers with straightforward ways to appeal against Penalty Fares they believe have been incorrectly issued.  IAS is the only service approved by the Strategic Rail Authority (and subsequently the Department for Transport) which is not connected to any transport operator. Card payment processing

We provide sophisticated, and secure, methods for passengers to pay PFNs and UFNs using crefit or debit cards.  Payments can be made on the spot to an inspector using or VirtualCredit service, or later via our website or our 24-hour telephone payment line.

Prosecutions Administrative Support

Unpaid PFN/UFN cases can be transferred electronically into a client-specific database which provides a range of services intended to minimise the administrative and clerical workload of the prosecution process, to allow prosecutors (whether in-house with our clients or external third parties) to concentrate on the aspects of the process which require their specialist skills.  More...
